Beauty & The Beast[Lucrezia]

Today was a rather odd day and the events that occurred as the day progressed only made it even weirder. Azrael found it strange, he didn't feel like his normal self today, he felt laid back and relaxed, and wished for an area to relax himself. Eventually, after much thought, he found himself inside a forest in the Lerajie district where he wondered around for at least a few hours. The silence soothed him and each unique animal that passed by intrigued him. He disliked most other races, but actual animals and insects, he was neutral towards. After traveling the forest for hours, he decided to venture to new parts of the forest to see new sights that might further put him at ease. However, instead of discovering more areas inside of the forest, he stumbled into a beach. It was rather vacant, there was only about two or three other people there and they were oblivious to his presence as it was. Azrael looked around and felt the cool breeze rolling off of the ocean and over the land caressing his skin gently and he decided that it would be a wonderful place to relax, after all, that was what he had come out for today and he was eager to get some stress out.

It was truly a wonderful place to relax, the only issue was Azrael's style of dress he chose today. He was wearing mostly black so naturally, he would be absorbing a lot of heat from the sun. He had been wearing black jeans, black sneakers, and a black button down shirt as well. He briefly thought to himself about what he should do. But he eventually shrugged off the matter of his clothing and decided he can remove an article or two. He had nothing to be ashamed of, he had pride in his body and so with that thought, he began taking off his clothing. First his shirt, which he slowly unbuttoned and finally removed after the last button had been undone. He tossed it on the ground in an area where there was a small amount of shade. That was where he would sit, on his shirt. Then he removed his sneakers, sparing the time to untie his laces and loosen them so he can slip his feet out of the sneakers with ease. He sat them next to him and he was about to lay down on his back, but then he caught the sight of a girl rather close to him. He hadn't noticed when she had gotten this close, and he hadn't seen her there before either. Normally, it wouldn't bother him, but she stood out among the other people on the beach. She seemed to glow under the sun and her skin was light, as well as her hair which appeared silver to him. He kept his body up straight watching her as she went on.

A day at the beach! It was always great fun. After a horror show a few days ago, Luc felt she needed to have some fun. Of course the angel was always up for some smiles, so the beach sounded amazing. The sun beat on her skin with heated pulses, warming every nerve on her body to its peak while the shine make her silvery locks glint in its rays. Her skin was aglow with healthful luster and altogether she felt simply amazed. Her bathing suit was a simple two piece with a silver band in the center upon the top and ties on either side of the bottoms. She walked barefoot upon the sand, letting the warm fragments heat her feet excitedly. A sensation she adore.

With her body clothed in black, water-resistant wear, she was ready to go. A beach ball in her hands, she tossed it to someone on the beach, who laughed awkwardly, but passed it back. A small game of catch later, Luc found herself catching sight of something looking vaguely familiar. A man, looking tall, was laying in the sand. Her eyes curious, she approached. Blue eyes narrowed but still wide with curiosity. This man.. seemed familiar. "Hello~" Her voice chimed and she smiled brightly.

He continuously watched the girl and he examined her body as he watched. Her skin was beautiful, almost as perfect as his own, or so he thought. Not only her skin but her hair, and they way she filled out he two piece bathing suit was almost perfect. He couldn't help but stare for several reasons. The first was because she was beautiful and she was innocent in appearance. The second, because she appeared familiar. Azrael had the strangest feeling that he knew that girl from somewhere, but he couldn't quite figure where he could possibly know her. He thought it disgusting that he was attracted to someone beneath him even in the slightest, but he was also aware that he couldn't help the things he were feeling. So he did the only thing he could do and he watched her as she played with her beach ball and her friends, if they were her friends. He had become lost in thought watching the people on the beach play with each other and finally managed to throw his head back and lay down rather than sitting up and watching the girl like some sort of creepy stalker and he was above that. So he laid back and closed his eyes.

No sooner than his eyes shut did someone approach and address him. They said hello, a single word but it had been enough to aggravate him. For he had just closed his eyes to enjoy some rest and relaxation. However, he did open his eyes. At first he didn't intend to say anything to the person, but a memory flashed in his head and he immediately recognized the girl. He rolled his eyes and averted his eyes away from her. He looked off to the side. "Oh great." The one time he goes to the beach, he manages to become attracted to a lowly angel. To make matters worse, it was the ditzy young girl he met in the prison during his mission in which he was partnered with JD. Of all people, her. He eventually overcame the annoyance and moved his eyes back to her. By now he assumed she'd be used to his attitude and he also assumed that she was aware that she was beneath him or at least he felt she was. "What do you want, Lucrezia?" He didn't feel the need to refer to her as girl or angel because it was already implied she was beneath him and he didn't think it needed to be further emphasized. Although, even though he was being his usual arrogant self, he could help but take another glance at her. Mostly her eyes, her blue eyes. But just as soon as he glanced, he turned away, waiting for her to answer.

The man was less than pleased to see her, Lucrezia didn't notice. His sarcasm didn't reach her as she would smile sweetly and giggle. "Oh great." He was overjoyed to see her?! What was his name again? the tall man from the horror trip? It didn't register. Thought after thought passed and she had no answers, so she grinned dimly and simply remained a smile. Happy Luc was happy. Smiling ear to ear, giddy to meet someone she knew. Even if he was not happy to see her, it was great to know he thought it was great to see her! As complex a thought as it was, Luc leaned forward, resting her hands on her knees. Her toes danced in the sand while she craned her neck some to look at the man. He was just a cranky man after all! Maybe a nap would make him feel better! Just as she went to request, he spoke again. "What do you want, Lucrezia?" What did she want?

Suddenly Lucrezia felt fluttered. Was he offering her what she wanted? There were so many ideas! So many things she could plan and fix! What on earth she could wish for in the heat of a moment. Her finger dangled on her lips once more, brow furrowed. Pondering the thought, it took a few moments before she could come up with an answer. "I want.. You to be happy!" She chimed with a soft giggle. The transparency of her wings could be seen even as they tucked behind her back. The blue eyes closed off for a moment with a genuine smile on her face. "If you were going to give me something, can that be it?" His body was turned from her, shunning her. A moment passed that he looked back, but he quickly turned away once again. A hint that Lucrezia didn't get. SHe sat there, smiling and waiting as her eyes opened again.

He sat up once more and looked at her slightly puzzled, and he was shocked. He wasn't shocked at her, but he was shocked at himself for not realizing that someone like her wouldn't understand sarcasm. He examined her closely and this made him realize that she genuinely wished for him to be happy. He gazed at her in shock and amusement and he couldn't find any words to say to her. It was an odd request, something so selfless from a girl who probably needed the world. He looked at her and now ignored the fact that she was completely oblivious to his sarcasm. He decided that if she wasn't going to let him be unless he was happy, he decided that he would attempt to have a little bit of fun at her expense. So he leaned forward and pulled his knees up to his chest and once more briefly examined her. What should I do. He remained silent for a while, not doing much more than staring at her as he thought. There was numerous ways he could go about mocking her, but he couldn't decide on one, so he just settled to bully her instead of any other complex plan. Once he finished thinking, he couldn't help but to allow a smile to curl onto his lips. He was powerless to stop it.

The girl had been too innocent, but at the same time, it was going to prove amusing, of course considering her ditzy nature, she might find it to be joyous as well. Eventually, Azrael had broken the silence he started. "You want me to be happy, huh? A devious smile curled on his lips and he bit his lip, then without further hesitation, he lifted his arm and reached out to her, and with all the power he felt necessary, he pushed her down on to the ground from on her feet to on her bottom. Azrael, could be described as several negative things such as cruel, evil, reckless, rude, arrogant, but never once had he ever been described as a bully, not to his knowledge anyways. However, he seemed to gain pleasure from bullying Lucrezia, which is something he was just beginning to realize. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that she wouldn't reject his next request, for it was the kind of person she was, kind-hearted and self-less, so he continued on. "You want me to be happy. So how about you play a little game with me, I think it will be fun." The way he said the last few words were dark and mischievous, as if he had something terrible(for Lucrezia of course) planned. He looked at her with his evil grin still in place, waiting to see how she might respond to his actions.

Luc must have said something wrong, because for two whole minutes at least, the boy stared at her. And stared. And continued to stare without a word or expression. Had she broken him? A momentary worry crossed her, however as she went to ask him, he was reacting once again. A smile on those lips and Luc wondered what she had possibly said to earn a smile that.. big. his knees were to his chest and his eyes still locked onto her. He had bit his own lip, which Lucrezia ALSO found odd. Words weaved into her head. "You want me to be happy, huh?" She nodded quickly. That was all she wanted, she had said so! After all, a smile could make her day. Though he WAS smiling, it seemed he had accepted her request, because he further carried the statement.

A quick action and he had shoved her backwards. Lucrezia blinked twice, a bit disoriented by the action while her hands caught the main of the raspy sand. It kind of hurt, like cold licks on her hand oddly enough. A tiny bit of blood dripping form the scrapes, but she did no more than a slight wince. His eyes were still on her as he continued.

"You want me to be happy. So how about you play a little game with me, I think it will be fun." A game? A game! Lucrezia brimmed with excitement. Games were so much fun! Though she was being bullied, she didn't understand and simply sat up, with her legs tucked under he lap. Her hands pressed her body to lean in forward, a smile ear to ear. "Okay!" Her voice shouted in a sweet sound. With a pause, she proceeded to ask, "What kind of game?" Probably a question that she would soon regret. For now, she was overly excited on the man's proposition.

Lucrezia's energy must have been contagious, because when she became enthusiastic about the game, Azrael too became excited and practically hopped to his feet in front of her. Her smile made her quite the adorable sight, and her voice even sweeter than her smile, however, Azrael didn't allow her features to distract him, he simply turned away from her and picked up his shirt off the ground where he had just been laying and sitting. Instead of putting it back on, he proceeded to rip the two sleeves off then he ripped the remainder of the shirt in half. He looked at Lucrezia to confirm that she had four limbs and no more and no less, then he nodded in approval more to himself than anything. Then he leaned over a bit, and out from his back two wings sprouted from his back, both the color of blood and larger than one could imagine wings could be. He turned draped the ripped fabric over his shoulder and turned around and grabbed Lucrezia. He held her tightly, because he was fully aware that she can and may possibly fly away from him despite her promise to play with him. Once he grabbed her, he took flapped his wings once, and that was all it took to get them both into the air.

Azrael carried the young girl between to trees and took her straight to the top. He released her body, or most of it and grabbed her arm. He grabbed a piece of cloth from his shoulder and with it, bound her arm to one of the trees. He then proceeded to grab her free arm and bind it to the other tree. As long as she didn't resist him, he would explain the details of this little "game" to her after he finished the preparations of it. He himself wasn't exactly sure how it would play out. He had just thought about it when she asked for his happiness. Once both of her arms were tied, he backed away and examined her. "Are you okay? Your not uncomfortable are you?" He didn't actually care whether or not she was comfortable, he just felt it necessary that she thinks well of him at the time. Without waiting for her response, he continued to wipe the remaining sand from her feet before tying them to the trees.

What happened next was rather odd, but Luc didn't question it. The man had taken his shirt and ripped it up. four straps (yes Luc could count to four) lingered on his shoulder and then the man hugged her! Well more or less. He really only grabbed her and his bloody wings protruded. Of course his wings were much bigger than hers and could carry her weight with his with ease. The strength in his appendages seemed to create a wind around him. Instinctively, her arms looped around his neck for support. Carrying her body against his while he took her to the top of a tree and next to another. Her eyes wild while she looked around, staring at the ground and the trees and the sky. His body took hers, placing her in an odd position and before she knew it, Luc was suspended between two trees. However, as he described the game, she remained all smiles and nods. Games were fun, even if this one was kind of painful. Her arms were captured by the fabric that made her remain levitated in the air. Her wings pressed to her back for now. Her eyes looked at him with an innocent confusion and intrigue. Her mind tried to memorize the rules repeating them. They weren't a lot to remember, but they were enough to occupy her mind.

He asked of her comfort level and she was fine for now so she said, "I'm okay." In response to his cruel question. Her face beamed, his hands wiped her feet clean of sand. Softly she hummed a tune, while she waited on his response to the start if the game. Patiently, she would watch him tie her feet as well. Such an odd game. However, all games were enjoyable! Weren't they?

Azrael finished explaining the game to Lucrezia and proceeded to bind her feet to the trees as her hands had been. He made sure each restraint was tight enough to keep her there, without her falling and then he backed away and nodded in approval. He looked at her face and from her smiles and humming, he assumed that she approved as well. He couldn't help but smile, after all, being the ditz she is, there's no way she would get free easily, unless of course she was a great guesser, or just an extremely lucky girl. He placed two fingers on his chin and looked around the beach making sure he had everything he needed. He flew away from Lucrezia for a few seconds and "borrowed" a bucket, and found another. He filled one with water, and another with sand. Once he was done with that task, he flew back to the girl tied between the trees and he set the buckets down. Then he managed a bright smile, though it was clearly fake. "Do you understand the game?" Without waiting for her to reply to his question, he proceeded to talk. "Then let the games begin!"

"Do you understand the game?" Lucrezia nodded swiftly. She understood! Of course she understood! It was a quick game and it should be fun. Punishment though, that sounded painful, however she wasn't too worried. The game would be a bonding experience for the both of them. She wasn't afraid, though Lucrezia was a bit dumb to know when to be afraid, anyways. Her eyes lit up and she watched him back up. He fetched two buckets and filled them With what? She wasn't so sure. It didn't make her uneasy, oddly enough. She simply remained tied up and waited for his words.

"Then let the games begin!" So many numbers! ten whole numbers between one and ten and she had to pick one! ONE number of the ten. She loved all the numbers! So as she stood there and chewed on her tongue, she debated on which was her favorite. So many choices! At last, she spoke, "Six!" Her voice cooed in a happy tune while she watched him with curiosity on his response.
